Technology Transition

The Department of Defense (DoD) is actively seeking innovative equipment, products, and materials that provide solutions to mission critical needs.  This is particularly true for innovations that have a direct impact on the safety and performance of servicemen and women engaged in active military operations.

T2Bridge^TM recognizes that transitioning innovative technology to DoD may require resources beyond the scope of many small or even medium size companies.  Technology Transition Assistance is designed to facilitate the transition of late-stage technologies that meet an identified DoD need.  Technologies that are candidates for this program should be fully developed and product ready.  The technology may already be in use for commercial or non-DoD applications.  The program is not intended to be a technology discovery or development program. 

Technology Transition efforts are focused on accelerating the transition of innovative technologies to American servicemen and women, with a special focus on needs of active military operations.  Examples of services that may be provided inlcude the following:

 

·   Identifying critical DoD needs.

·   Seeking technologies that meet needs.

·   Identifying procurement mechanisms for technologies meeting a DoD  need.

·   Assisting companies develop capability or capacity needed to produce for DoD.

·  Create corporate awareness of programs related to DoD procurement.

·  Assisting companies place products into DoD procurement.

·  Creating partnerships that facilitate procurement of innovative products.
