R&D Collaboration
The Department of Defense (DoD) has more than 100 labs located throughout
the United States. These labs house more than 700 research facilities.
Many of these facilities have unique capabilities and are available to the
private sector through a number of contract mechanisms such as Cooperative
Research & Development Agreements (CRADA), Testing Agreements, Educational
Partnership Agreements (EPA), and others.
T2BridgeTM matches DoD resources with the
private sector to accelerate development of innovations that solve DoD
needs.
Resource DoD is designed to increase access by American industry to
innovative technologies, services, facilities, systems, devices, and other
DoD resources; and, to establish joint R&D projects between industry and DoD
to solve DoD needs by encouraging innovation and inventiveness of the
private sector. Examples of services available through this effort inlcude the following:

Identifying
DoD resources.

Creating corporate awareness of DoD resources.
·
Identifying
appropriate contract mechanisms for accessing resources.
·
Assisting companies obtain access to DoD resources.
·
Providing follow-on assistance for procurement of innovative products
or materials.
